ChromitAL TCP

ChromitAL TCP aims to passivate the aluminum workpiece so that a corrosion-protective effect is achieved and the natural oxidation is stopped.

Passivation of aluminum is carried out to achieve:

Better corrosion protection Good adhesion before painting - either powder or wet coating For items that need to be glued or printed

Passivation of aluminum is carried out in accordance with MIL DTL 5541 Type II Class 1A, as well as Class 3 where there are requirements for measuring voltage loss/surface resistance.

This measurement is carried out and documented in our laboratory at a fixed interval.

The product we use for this process is Surtec 650 / ChromitAL TCP

Quality test:

    Salt spray test (ASTM B 117) Voltage loss/surface resistance measurement ( MIL-DTL-81706 )

We will send the COC and test reports on request.

Our process is 3rd party approved according to KVS-10, corresponding to MIL-DTL-5541, by KIWA TI Norway.
