Policy for quality, environment and working environment
Stjerne-Chrom A / S is a modern and responsible chemical surface treatment company that has a sharp focus on delivering high quality. We plan our processes taking into account the surrounding environment and ensure a good and safe working environment for our employees. We place emphasis on delivering well-documented and consistent quality products to our customers who live up to their specific requirements, and we work according to internationally recognized standards such as ISO, MILTEK and ASTM.
We always take pride in delivering on time, so that customers' expectations are met here to full satisfaction. Stjerne-Chrom has its own laboratory, where thorough tests and product inspections are carried out. Our process verification must ensure a consistent quality for our customers, and helps to optimize the processes so that the environmental impact is reduced in terms of consumption of chemicals, energy and water. The product controls are determined in close dialogue with the individual customer, and include e.g. salt mist test, layer thickness measurements, blue-spot test or other types of measurements, which must ensure that we live up to customers' requirements for the individual product.
We carry out environmental and working environment assessments when purchasing machines and organizing new processes, and strive to continuously reduce our CO2 emissions. In dialogue with our employees, good well-being and a safe working environment are ensured. The goal is zero occupational accidents, and we focus on safe handling of chemicals and items in production.
We work to prevent ergonomic problems, and stay up to date on process and material development to minimize the consumption of work environment-damaging substances. We work continuously to improve our services, production equipment and production processes, both in relation to quality, environmental impact and working environment - and of course comply with current environmental and working environment legislation.
This policy and our management system apply to all Stjerne-Chrom employees who are obliged to follow the system's procedures, comply with the provisions of the legislation and work to improve the efficiency of the management system.
