We analyze and test

The laboratory's quality management is structured in accordance with ISO 17025, and our laboratory technician plays a significant role in the daily work with quality management in our processes and on the individual products. Laboratory tests are recognized by our customers and their end customers on an equal footing with the requirement to use accredited laboratories in relation to the standards; and we are proud of that.

In the laboratory, all tests are performed according to international standards. We participate in intercalibration across national borders, e.g. with our salt spray test, to ensure uniformity and high quality of our performed tests on products and process verification. Verification is important; this is the guarantee that our surface treatment processes live up to the requirements set out in the MILTEK standards and others. All analyzes are performed according to international standards. 

Every time we consider introducing a new production standard, the standard is reviewed by our quality manager and production manager to ensure that we can carry out the necessary process verification and product control. Then we are sure that we can deliver a satisfactory surface treatment according to the customer's specific requirements incl. documentation for the implementation of the process and our quality control of the items. 

The laboratory conducts analyzes / tests in a number of areas: 

• Chemical analyzes in general
• Salt fog test
• Visual tests, gloss measurement and color comparison
• Combined chemical and visual as blue spot test
• Layer thickness measurement with X-ray
• Magnetic layer thickness and weight loss test
• Physical control measurement
• Taber Abrasion test "wear test"
• Measurement of voltage loss ( MIL DTL 5541 Class 3 )
